• Design and architect the new process control system to replace the outdated PLC legacy system
• Collaborate with the release team to meet demand and resolve connectivity issues
• Conduct onsite testing in production plants and manage both on-premise and cloud integration
• Ensure the system meets high demand and challenging targets
• Work under agile methodology, contributing to sprint planning and daily stand-ups
• Document system architecture and troubleshooting procedures for knowledge sharing
• Continuously improve the system and development process
• Foster a positive team culture and collaborative environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field; equivalent working experience accepted
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in a backend position
• Proficiency in back-end programming languages (Java)
• Experience with automated unit tests and testing platforms (e.g., JUnit, Jenkins)
• Excellent understanding of design patterns
• Proficiency in coding tools (e.g., Git, Jira)
• Technologically adept with strong computer skills
• Experience in services development and knowledge of Windows and Linux
• Understanding of site/software accessibility and security compliance measures
• Experience with integration of multiple databases and data sources into a single system
• Capable of creating database schemas supporting and representing business processes
• Basic understanding of DevOps
• Ability to work comfortably in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and evolving environment
• Highly organized with the ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Team-player with strong team-building skills
• Slovak or Czech language is a must
• Fluency in English, German will be an advantage
