IT Support Consultant

Job description
We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive person to join our team for the position of IT Support Consultant. This role requires a keen ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues swiftly, implement effective solutions, and provide expert advice to enhance overall IT performance. The duties include being a point of contact for IT-related questions at the end-user level and responding to their needs promptly.

Your responsibilities
- Install, configure and support hardware and software assets, printers, and phones
- Provide technical support across the company (in person or over the phone/online channel)
- Repair and replace equipment if necessary.
- Respond promptly to service issues and requests
- Set up accounts for new users
- Document support procedures, technical configurations, and troubleshooting steps for reference and knowledge sharing
Our requirements
To succeed at this job, you must have:
- At least 2 years of experience in IT
- Good knowledge of Windows and Mac OS operating systems, up to date with the latest technologies and trends
- Experience with Linux is a plus
- Experience with help desk ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse and diagnose technical issues efficiently
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
