Job description

Financial Director partners in accountability for the financial successes of the company. Being responsible for optimal financing options for the company, FD provides strategic direction, as well as track cash flow, manage the accounting, ensures the company’s financial reports are accurate. Given the financial acumen required for this position, FD partners with the company management by providing a financial aspect to management decisions.

Financial Director will analyze financial data and subsequently provide advice and guidance to NATEK Management Board on future financial plans in order to enable them to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives. Developing long-term financial strategy, Finance Director is providing controlling that ensures the company to meet set goals.

FD creates financial reports, creates and control the budgets, supervises accountancy, and directly manage team in the finance department. Financial Director will issue financial statements for all NATEK subsidiaries and consolidated.

Your responsibilities

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANCY

  • Is accountable for correct statutory and financial accounting of all companies forming NATEK group
  • Constructs and maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
  • Is responsible for supervision of bookkeeping of statutory accountancy for Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Bulgaria provided by either internal team or accounting vendors.
  • Is responsible for timely closing of accounting books
  • Over-sees preparation of regular monthly, quarterly and annual statutory reports such as Balance sheet, P&L and Cash Flow report. And assures their compliance with related reports such as GM, Salary costs
  • Preparation of consolidated financial statements on quarterly and annual basis
  • Communicates with external auditors and is an advisor to Board on action plans and annual audit scope of reviews
  • Constantly improves processes to reach better team productivity and quality

FINANCIAL ANALYSIS & BUDGET

  • In relation with functions and departments constructs Financial Budget based on expected revenues for the year
  • Interprets the company's financial results to management and makes recommendations for improvements
  • Compiles key business metrics and report on them to management
  • Assists in the determination of product pricing in relation to features offered and competitor pricing
  • Reviews the performance of competitors and report on key issues to management
  • Produce Risk reports
  • In cooperation with NATEK Management Board creates long them financial plans

REPORTING

  • Manage the reporting department, which produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
  • Proposes improvements in financial reports in the areas of revenue structure, profit and margin structure, fix costs structure, employee expenses, labor costs etc
  • Create additional reporting to business functions to help management on business decision

REPRESENTATION

  • Communicates financial figures with financial institutions and external recipients
  • Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations
  • Manages the team in finance department on a group level
  • Direct reporting to NATEK Management Board

Our requirements

To succeed at this job, you must have:

  • Master’s degree in finance or accounting
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation (former experience in BIG 4 will be an asset)
  • Experience with statutory and financial accounting of more than one business entity simultaneously
  • Experience with budgeting and controlling
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships
  • Knowledge of the IT market
  • Fluency in English, other language as French or German is a plus
  • Remote work, but occasionally visiting the office in Warsaw
