Workforce Management Specialist/Engagement Lead

Job description

The Workforce Management Specialist is responsible for optimizing staffing and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency and achievement of service levels. This role involves forecasting, scheduling, real-time monitoring, and analyzing workforce data. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in WFM tools.

Your responsibilities

• Resource Requests: Review E3T and SoW; create resource requests based on delivery mix.

• Resource Nominations: Match skills in resource requests and nominate suitable candidates.

• Project Initiation: Align project scope with PM, prepare internal SoW, and transition to delivery teams.

• Forecasting: Analyze historical data to predict workload and staffing needs.

• Scheduling: Develop staff schedules ensuring coverage aligned with business demands.

• Technology Awareness: Maintain knowledge of A&PS technology stack, pursuit processes, and project management principles.

• Opportunity Management: Lead identification and closure of medium to large opportunities.

• Real-Time Monitoring: Track workforce activities, identify variances, and recommend adjustments.

• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular and ad-hoc workforce performance reports; propose improvements.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Delivery Managers to align workforce strategies.

• Process Optimization: Continuously improve WFM processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies.

• Monitoring & Reporting: Generate reports to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Workforce Brokers and Delivery Teams to align resources with required skills.

• Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance WFM processes, tools, and technologies. Identify automation opportunities and streamline tasks. Stay updated on industry best practices and implement relevant strategies.

Our requirements

To succeed at this job, you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in infrastructure project delivery.

• Project coordination experience.

• Proven experience in workforce management or service desk operations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

• Proficiency in WFM tools and MS Office Suite (Excel expertise required).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

• Understanding of IT infrastructure.

It would be preferred if you have:

• Professional certification in workforce management or related field.

• Experience in multicultural or global environments.
