Job description

We are looking for Web Portal Developer (Drupal) who will join a project within banking industry.




The ESS Enterprise department is one of key technology delivery functions within Group CIO division. The department is responsible for lifecycle management and engineering of all products related to the management of the firm’s global infrastructure including Event Management, Capacity Management, Infrastructure Automation, Orchestration and API management.


Overtime may happen occasionally.




Our team has a background in Orchestration and Automation and it consists of 4 members located in Poland (Warsaw). The team is a mix of infrastructure engineers and developers.


The team deals with different platforms  (dev, maintenance). Last platform – APIgee – building the systems, implement different components.

To this end an engineering team was formed to deliver a full life-cycle API Management platform. We seek to recruit a developer to work as a key member of this team. Your responsibilities

The role will focus on developing our API Marketplace to be a globally available production solution. The developer will need to be able to:

·  Work with other engineers, developers and architects to develop, support, and maintain the web components of our internal API Marketplace.

·       Develop and maintain both, the frontend and backend of the API Marketplace.

·   Identity and update processes that will improve the user experience

·   Build new functionalities in the Marketplace that will be integrated with REST APIs

·       Work to project schedules and provide accurate and timely feedback for any assigned tasks.

·       Produce high quality documentation related to solution design, operations, governance and end-users.

·       Work independently to solve complex technical problems and provide solutions and designs.


Frontend 30-40%, backend 60-70% (more backend, greater complexity on backend)

Our requirements


·  Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field or equivalent experience

·       Experience of development in a large corporate environment

·       Experience of infrastructure products and concepts

·       Experience of programming infrastructure applications

·   Experience in implementing and developing a Drupal Portal (backend and frontend)

·   Significant experience in Drupal 8 (version 8 knowledge is needed!) – at least 3 years of experience, and PHP

·    Knowledge about how API works, knowledge how to implement new features

·  Experience in Smart Docs, APIs and Swagger/Open API specification

·       Experience with frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Angular)

·       REST web-services working experience

·    Some security knowledge (what kind of security solutions is implemented during the migration/integration of a platform; authentication)

·       Database modeling and development (PostgreSQL preferred)

·       Conceptual knowledge of infrastructure and eco-systems used within a large corporate environment including desktop and desktop management, servers, networks, databases, web servers, security systems

·       Experience working with GIT

·       Experience with both: testing and coding

·   The ability to produce high quality technical documents and designs. Proactive attitude and enthusiasm.



Nice to have:

·       Experience of infrastructure development in a global banking environment

·       Experience of enterprise infrastructure engineering

·       Good understanding of Google Apigee platform

·       Installing/modifying PHP modules

·       Java development

·  General web development (any common language and framework)

·       Jira, CI/CD, Pipelines

·       Linux (RHEL)
