We are looking for Validation Engineer who would join the R&D team inGdansk, Poland. The team is in charge of new features and improvements. Our project is dedicated to digital security. We are responsible for software applications, secure personal devices such as smart cards and tokens, and managed services

Your responsibilities

Typical activities:

• Validation of server side software components in hosted environment working closely with Product Owner, Scrum Master, Developers & Validators
• Design and perform functional/load tests to deliver stable and robust software
• Prepare and run exhaustive non-regression tests for each new release
• Respect Thales process using Agile (Scrum)
• Maintain validation environment
• Ensure level 3 support for products and customer projects
• Participate to DevOps process (CI/CD)

Our requirements

Mandatory skills:

• Degree in IT/electronics/automation or similar
• Experienced in development of automatic testing environment in Java (J2EE) and using DB (Oracle)
• Good knowledge of tools such as: Soap UI, JMeter, Selenium and various testing frameworks.
• Experienced in client/server validation using application server such as Tomcat, JBoss, etc..
• Knowledge of DevOps tools for CI/CD, like Jenkins, Ansible

Useful skills and knowledge:

• Knowledge about IT architecture in general
• Good usage of Soap/XML, JSON, Rest API
• Knowledge about Node.JS
• Experience in building robust environments (high availability, clustering, load balancing)
• Experience in Public Cloud (AWS)
• Hands-on experience on Unix systems
• ITIL approach
