Test Automation Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join international project.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will be a part of Team responsible for testing UI and Backend of Production Critical Systems, navigating in an Agile environment, working with system that calculates Counterparty Credit risk, as large and distributed Risk Management System that utilizes C# stack, Monte Carlo calculations on Cloud (Azure).

 

Project Team is located  in Warsaw, Wroclaw and London and includes almost 45 people in total with following roles – Project Managers, Delivery Managers, Test Manager, Team Leads, Developers, Business Analysts and Quality Assurance and Test Automation Engineers.

QA Team itself is spread across 3 locations: Wroclaw, Pune, Warsaw.

 

  • Working with partial assignment to Agile team (day-by-day work with dev teams) and partial to Waterfall testing (against Releases)
  • Daily communications in English, exposure to fin-tech vocabulary

Your responsibilities

•           Building and maintaining Test Automation frameworks and testing environments (incl. Continuous Integration)

•           Improving Test Coverage, reviewing and filling gaps in existing automation

•           Evaluation of tickets, participating in Daily Scrum meetings

•           Test execution and reporting (sprint-slots) using ALM, Octane, X-Ray, JIRA, Odyssey Confluence

•           Frequent interaction with project peers: BA, PM, Dev Team across the globe (London, NY, Wroclaw, Warsaw)

Our requirements

•           At least 3+ years of professional experience in software development and/or test automation development

•           Good working knowledge of C# and SQL. 

•           Proficiency with testing framework tools like Selenium Web Driver or other

•           Proven understanding of SDLC under Agile (SCRUM) environment, TDD/BDD, Continuous Integration

Nice to have: 

•         Good knowledge of React,, PowerShell scripting, Python, experience with API's, databases, GIT, REST/SOAP, Team City and Transporter.

•          ISTQB Certification(s)

•           Experience working with auditors

•           Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT experience or another technology-related subject

•           Experience with non-functional testing
