SW Development Engineer – Java/J2EE

VACANCY DESCRIPTION

You will be member of The Identity and Data Protection (IDP) R&D team, which designs, implements and validates authentication solutions. The solutions use an authentication server and multi-platform client software and is integrated with security tokens (such as smart cards and secure devices). They are mainly aimed at the Banking market (security of internet banking (eBanking), online authentication, and digital signature of financial transactions) and for Large and Medium sized companies (network access, VPN access).

The current open job position is within the team focusing on our Authentication back-end Server.

DUTIES

−Be part of an Agile/Scrum development team
−Participate in design and implementation of Strong Authentication Server
− Design automated tests and maintain continuous integration framework
−Participate in innovation:
oKeep track of new industry standards in order to issue new proposals
oRecommend suggestions to improve efficiency, security and quality
oShare and pool the developments for future reutilization: use of common development languages, understand market and related issues

REQUIREMENTS

−At least 2 years of work experience in programming (SW Development)
−Very good knowledge of Java SE and J2EE (JSP/Servlet)
−Very good knowledge of Java/J2EE application frameworks (Spring, Hibernate)
−Knowledge of Web technologies and applications servers (HTTP, HTML, XML, JavaScript, REST, Tomcat, WebSphere…)
−Good knowledge of relation databases - SQL (MS SQL, MySQL), Oracle (PL/SQL)

ADVANTAGE:
−Working knowledge of second programming language C# (C/C++)
−Experience with GWT or other web application framework
−Experience with SCRUM, continuous integration and test automation
−Basic knowledge of cryptography (symmetric, asymmetric, PKI ...)
