• Act as the primary QA representative within the team, driving quality ownership and engineering best practices

• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing solutions across APIs, integrations, and asynchronous systems

• Independently identify test coverage requirements, quality risks, and gaps in requirements or delivery approaches

• Validate integrations, payload mappings, downstream processing, and businesscritical flows across multiple systems

• Analyse logs, observability data, and distributed system behaviour to investigate issues and support root cause analysis

• Confidently communicate quality concerns, risks, and recommendations to developers, analysts, and stakeholders

• Manage multiple workstreams and priorities effectively while maintaining delivery quality

• Support and influence shift-left testing practices within the development lifecycle

• Contribute towards scalable quality engineering approaches, frameworks, and standards

• Strong experience in API, integration, and automation testing

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality outcomes

• Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Independent thinker who can challenge assumptions and identify risks proactively

• Comfortable operating as the sole QA resource within a team environment

• Strong understanding of integration testing approaches and distributed system behaviours

• Experience working within agile delivery environments with competing priorities

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Ability to adapt quickly within transformation-focused or evolving technical environments
