Job description
Join our agile team to support and provision essential development tools within a regulated enterprise environment. You will focus on enrolling, packaging, testing, and supporting the Python interpreter and other key software development tools for Windows-based developer environments.
You will be instrumental in maintaining tool stability, managing licenses, resolving technical issues, and ensuring compliance with internal processes—all while supporting the organization’s digital transformation.

Your responsibilities
• Enroll, test, and provision the Python interpreter as a software package via the internal Software Center for Windows-based developer machines.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting to customers through JIRA requests.
• Maintain and package new versions of housekeeping and developer tools such as MS Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ IDEA, Doxygen, Eclipse IDE, and DevExpress.
• Keep internal product documentation (Architecture app) updated with technical specifics for Python and other tools.
• Manage remediation tasks related to vulnerability management of developer client tools via ServiceNow.
• Oversee license management to ensure compliant usage of development tools.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment to improve tool provisioning and support processes.
• Support the digital transformation towards modern development and deployment practices.
• Participate in business trips to Germany occasionally (1–2 times per year).
Our requirements
To succeed at this job, you must have:
• Deep understanding of Windows client operations including installation, configuration, remote support, networking, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of software development tools such as Python interpreter, MS Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ IDEA, Doxygen, Eclipse IDE, and DevExpress.
• Ability to package, test, and deploy new tool releases in accordance with internal processes.
• Proven experience in license management and compliance analysis.
• Programming skills with at least one language (Python preferred), including database basics, to support and maintain housekeeping tools.
• Familiarity with Docker and container technologies.
• Strong English communication skills; German language skills are a plus.
It would be preferred if you have:
• Experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Comfortable collaborating with international and cross-locational teams.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
