VACANCY DESCRIPTION

Our client is a world leader in digital security and the top provider of complex digital and smart cards solutions for all major mobile operators, bank houses and public services.This department is responsible for the design and implementation of software components and products, qualification and integration of third party's hardware in the scope of Government Programs (National ID, ePassports, eHealthcare). Our products span from reusable libraries (hardware connectors, cryptography), desktop applications integrating various hardware (fingerprint scanners, printers, digital cameras) up to high performance servers.Responsibility for validation, integration and deployment of solutions.Preparation of the project’s validation strategy and validation campaigns.Execution of validation campaigns both internally and externally with customer.Coordination with all parties involved.Help with integration of software and hardware components.To plan and guarantee the optimal test strategy within an optimal cost.To ensure that the global solution validation is done properly and covers all customer requirements, respecting QA process.

DUTIES

As part of the Delivery Centre development team you will be
responsible for entire validation of our products (applications,
libraries, system and solutions; either purely software or combining
software and hardware) and helping with integration in customer
environment - Working with Project Leader, you will analyze the subject, define a test strategy and prepare the Validation Test Plan- You will execute the Validation Test Plan and present the test results- As integral part of the development team you will cooperate very closely with developers in order to identify, isolate and reproduce
issues- You will be also responsible be for selection of tools and/or development of them if non-existing.- You may be responsible for development of automated tests- You will prepare needed documents to cooperate with Quality Assurance
Officer and verify compliance with Quality Assurance Processes- You will execute specific test campaign with customer on deployed and final solution- You will get involved in Quality Assurance methodologies and contribute to their improvement- You may be responsible for test environment preparation

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Very good level of English (communication with clients and internal)
- At least 4 years of work experience in Software Validation as a Tester/ Validator/ QA Eng.
- Excellent knowledge in validation methodologies, processes and tools- Strong technical background
- Good knowledge of SQL and Database servers
- Good understanding of web technologies and applications servers (HTTP, HTML/XML, Jboss, WebSphere, GlassFish…)
- Very good analytical mind, problem solving skills, able and willing to learn
- Detailed oriented, able to cope with and manage multiple tasks
- Communicative, open-minded, friendly and a team player
- Flexibility and ability to share knowledge and to work under pressure
- Autonomous, creative, curious, rigorous, precise and pragmatic
- Willingness to travel worldwide (up to 20-30% of working time)

Advantage:
- Basic programming skills (scripting language, Java or C#)
- Experience with / knowledge of automated integration including build and deployment automation
- Experience with software integration- Experience with network environment implementation, configuration and management
- Experience with design, configuration and maintenance of virtualization solutions (VMware)
- Experience with configuration and maintenance of Oracle and MS SQL Server databases
- Knowledge on smart card, smart card personalization, smart card usage, PC/SC
- Experience with Mercury Quality Centrum
