• Analyse business and technical requirements related to IT Operations Management.

• Design ITOM solutions aligned with business and operational objectives.

• Advise on Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management and operational visibility.

• Design approaches for infrastructure discovery and CMDB population.

• Define requirements for service and application dependency mapping.

• Analyse existing monitoring and event-management processes and identify improvement opportunities.

• Design event-management and alert-management processes.

• Advise on event correlation, prioritisation, noise reduction and operational workflows.

• Support the design of service-impact analysis and operational dashboards.

• Advise on CMDB data quality, CI relationships and alignment with CSDM principles where relevant.

• Support cloud-management and cloud-operations requirements where applicable.

• Define integration requirements between ServiceNow ITOM and monitoring, infrastructure and cloud platforms.

• Facilitate workshops with infrastructure, cloud, network, application and operations teams.

• Translate requirements into functional specifications and user stories.

• Support solution validation, UAT and go-live activities.

• Provide guidance to developers and technical teams during implementation.

• Identify opportunities for automation and proactive operations.

• Prepare functional documentation and provide knowledge transfer.

• 4+ years of ServiceNow experience with significant experience in ITOM.

• Strong understanding of:

o Discovery

o Service Mapping

o Event Management

o Operational Intelligence

o CMDB knowledge is considered an advantage

o CSDM

o Cloud Management / cloud operations

• Experience designing ServiceNow ITOM solutions.

• Understanding of infrastructure, applications, networks, databases and cloud environments.

• Knowledge of CMDB architecture and CI relationships is considered a plus.

• Experience with Discovery architecture, MID Servers, credentials and discovery patterns.

• Understanding of service mapping and application/service dependencies.

• Knowledge of event-management concepts, event correlation and alert management.

• Experience with ServiceNow integrations and external monitoring tools.

• Strong requirements-analysis and stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• ServiceNow CSA and/or CIS-Discovery/ITOM-related certification is highly desirable.
