· Assess and help shape the overall system architecture, covering monitoring interfaces and IDoc-based integrations.

· Design and deliver strategic IT initiatives while working as part of an agile team.

· Guide the business IT function on emerging technologies and help product teams turn technical needs into working solutions.

· Carry out performance reviews and diagnose and resolve system issues.

· Coordinate with and provide IT support for SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM).

· Oversee and maintain multi-client environments and systems used for parallel development.

· Manage release cycles and system copies, and apply Enhancement Packages (EHPs) and add-ons.

· Bring forward feedback and suggestions for improvement during team retrospectives.

· UDF experience.

· Fluent in German.

· 3–7+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience, ideally in the relevant business module: SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, EWM, etc.

· Strong experience with SAP Custom Fields and Logic / extensibility and adding custom fields to standard business objects.

· Understanding of SAP Fiori and the S/4HANA extensibility framework.

· Experience gathering requirements from business users and translating them into SAP fields/configuration.

· Knowledge of standard vs. custom functionality — particularly avoiding unnecessary customizations.

· Familiarity with SAP APIs, CDS views, OData and integration, especially if the custom fields need to flow between systems.

· Experience with testing, transport management, documentation and production support.

· Ability to work with ABAP developers when a requirement can't be handled through standard/key-user extensibility.
