Job description

Join Natek as a Senior Procurement Specialist and support our customer in leading contracting projects in collaboration with business stakeholders, procurement category teams, and in-market Procurement Managers. The person in this role will execute procurement activities in accordance with the ONE Procurement Operating Model.

Your responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with procurement category teams and in-market teams to execute contracting projects and achieve savings targets.
  2. Independently manage the contracting process, understanding category-specific requirements and priorities.
  3. Advise stakeholders on best practices and contract types.
  4. Analyze contract negotiations and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  5. Prepare reports summarizing negotiations and provide informed recommendations.
  6. Manage contract administration, ensuring timely renewals, creation of new contracts, and negotiation of terms and conditions.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with Global Category Leaders and business stakeholders.
  8. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and optimize procurement tool usage.
  9. Actively seek opportunities for cross-team collaboration.

Our requirements

To succeed at this job, you must have:

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain (preferably in a large, mature procurement organization)
  2. Knowledge of Procurement tools (i.e. Jaggaer, Coupa)
  3. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  5. Experience in negotiating commercial terms and contract clauses
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences
  7. Strong relationship-building and business partnering skills across various organizational levels
  8. Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-changing environment
  9. Strong time management and prioritization skills
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  11. Excellent English communication skills (minimum B2 level, verbal and written)
