Job description
The role is part of a regulatory reporting platform within the banking and Asset Management domain. The team is responsible for building and enhancing systems that deliver timely and accurate client reports, transaction reports, and reports to global regulators.
The project is currently in a modernization and scaling phase, focused on improving reliability, performance, and automation of reporting solutions.
You will be working in an international, agile environment with teams distributed across multiple locations in Europe and Asia.
Hybrid mode – 3 days from Wrocław office, 2 days remote

Your responsibilities
• Developing and delivering high-quality solutions for regulatory reporting platforms
• Building and enhancing client, transaction, and regulatory reporting systems
• Designing and implementing scalable and reliable data processing solutions using Databricks and Python
• Translating business requirements into technical specifications and solutions
• Automating manual reporting and operational processes
• Ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability of developed solutions
• Working with SQL (SQL Server / PostgreSQL) for data processing and querying
• Applying unit testing practices (e.g. Python frameworks, Pandas/NumPy validation)
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab-based)
• Working within a microservices-based architecture
• Collaborating with an agile, globally distributed team
• Communicating effectively with technical stakeholders
Our requirements
To succeed at this job, you must have:
• Fluent English (spoken and written) - mandatory
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks and Python
• Strong experience in Python development
• Hands-on experience with Databricks (core requirement)
• Experience with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
• Experience working with Pandas and NumPy
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab)
• Experience with unit testing
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong focus on scalability, performance, and reliability
• Good communication skills
It would be preferred if you have:
Experience in the financial or asset management sector
Exposure to Azure cloud services
Experience working in regulatory/reporting environments
