Job description
Our client is an innovative startup in the space and satellite telecommunications sector, headquartered in France. They are building the next generation of connectivity solutions and have already established a foundational Microsoft Azure cloud platform. As the organization scales, they are looking for an experienced cloud expert to help evolve and optimize their Azure ecosystem.
We are seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer/Consultant to lead the evolution of an existing Azure environment. This is a highly consultative and hands-on role for someone who can leverage their experience to propose scalable solutions, challenge existing approaches, and drive best practices across cloud infrastructure, governance, security, and AI services.
The Azure foundation has already been implemented. The focus now is on expanding, integrating, optimizing, and reconfiguring the platform to support future business and technical requirements.

Your responsibilities
• Reconfigure and optimize the Azure environment
• Design and implement Azure infrastructure solutions
• Manage and refactor Azure subscriptions and resources
• Support migration and reconfiguration activities
• Work with Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code
• Support Azure AI Foundry integrations
• Work with Power Platform solutions
• Configure monitoring, Log Analytics and Logic Apps
• Support cloud security best practices
• Manage cost optimization and governance
• Collaborate with network, security and BI engineers
• Provide technical recommendations and architectural input
• Identify improvements proactively and drive initiatives
• Estimate implementation effort and identify technical risks
Our requirements
To succeed at this job, you must have:
• 8+ years of experience in Azure Cloud Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or Infrastructure roles.
• Strong expertise in Azure Infrastructure, Governance, and Subscription Management.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience integrating and managing Azure AI Foundry and related Azure AI services.
• Knowledge of Power Platform, Logic Apps, Log Analytics, Azure Networking, and Azure Security.
• Strong understanding of FinOps and Azure cost optimization, with a proven ability to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor, proactively recommending alternative solutions, innovative approaches, and optimization opportunities based on experience and best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English.
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment.
