Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Security Operations Integration Engineer to join our long-term infrastructure security initiative. This role is nearly 100% project-focused and is ideal for a hands-on engineer with a strong background in Linux systems and security tooling, particularly in operational and integration contexts.

Your responsibilities
· Lead the integration, administration, and maintenance of ELK stack and Rapid7 tools in a distributed on-premises environment.
· Collaborate on the security architecture and roadmap, contributing insights from operational experience and driving platform stability and scalability.
· Participate in proof-of-concept (PoC) development and support mass adoption of selected security technologies across the infrastructure.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions within the existing environment.
· Maintain documentation and operational readiness for deployed systems and
support tooling.
Our requirements
To succeed at this job, you must have:
· Proven Linux administration or L2/L3 support experience, preferably in large-scale, production environments.
· Hands-on experience with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) in an administrative or integration role.
· Familiarity with SIEM platforms (e.g., Rapid7) and willingness to deepen expertise within the first two months.
· Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems and drive root cause analysis.
· Strong problem-solving skills and a self-driven, proactive mindset.
It would be preferred if you have:
· Previous experience in a security-focused engineering role.
· Exposure to other security tools and platforms (e.g., IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection).
· Understanding of network and system security concepts, log analysis, and incident response.
