Role Overview
• We are looking for a Senior SCCM / Systems Engineer to take technical ownership of the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) platform within a factory manufacturing environment.
• The role is responsible for ensuring a stable, secure, and scalable endpoint management platform for IT and OT devices across manufacturing plants.
• This position combines endpoint platform ownership, systems engineering, and production-critical support in a highly regulated automotive environment.
Your responsibilities
SCCM & Endpoint Platform
• Own and operate SCCM services for factory IT/OT environments.
• Design, create, and maintain SCCM deployments and applications.
• Lead patch management strategy for IT and OT endpoints.
• Test, validate, and deploy new applications and SCCM functionalities (QA → Production).
• Manage role-based access and permissions within SCCM.
Systems & Infrastructure Engineering
• Manage and support Microsoft Active Directory in a factory environment.
• Support Windows Server and Azure-based infrastructure.
• Implement automation using PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Monitor systems and perform root cause analysis using monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix).
Operations & Support
• Provide 3rd-line support for Factory Service Desk and Factory OnSite teams.
• Participate in a mandatory 24×7 on-call rotation for P1/P2 incidents.
• Support production-critical environments with a production-first mindset.
• Support weekend and holiday work as required (included in service scope).
Knowledge Transfer & Coordination
• Train local factory IT teams and new FaOS team members.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Coordinate with global IT, OT, security, and production stakeholders.
• Support domain migrations and platform improvements.
Our requirements
To succeed at this job, you must have:
• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or SCCM Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
• Experience with Windows Server environments and Azure.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or factory IT/OT environments is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and ownership mindset.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Local language proficiency (spoken and written).
• Driving license B.
• Willingness to work 100% onsite in Košice.
• Availability for on-call duties, weekend work, and occasional travel.
