SAP FI/CO Key User (part-time)

Job description

Join an international organization operating in the FMCG sector, currently undergoing a major SAP transformation. The company is migrating its financial systems from SAP ECC 6.0 to S/4HANA in a like-for-like approach, ensuring continuity of existing processes while leveraging selected new S/4HANA functionalities.

As a SAP FI/CO Key User, you will support the business during the testing phase of the migration project. This is not a configuration or consulting role - you will act as a business-side expert, actively validating financial processes and identifying inconsistencies within the system. The role is designed as a part-time engagement (up to 0.5 FTE), offering flexibility and an opportunity for additional income alongside your current responsibilities.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting business users during SIT and UAT testing phases

• Actively executing test scenarios and validating system behavior from a business perspective

• Identifying inconsistencies, gaps, and risks in financial processes

• Reporting test results and documenting findings

• Participating in regular coordination meetings and consultations

• Collaborating closely with business users and stakeholders

• Providing real business input based on accounting experience

Our requirements

To succeed at this job, you must have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as SAP FI/CO Key User (S/4HANA)

• Strong background in finance and accounting processes (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Controlling)

• Practical experience in reporting, settlements, reconciliations

• Understanding of chart of accounts, liabilities, provisions

• Hands-on experience in system implementations or testing phases

• Fluent English (written and spoken)

• Proactive, detail-oriented mindset - ability to analyze and challenge results, not just execute tests

• Commercial experience in FMCG industry will be considered a plus

• Knowledge of KSeF will be considered a plus

• Familiarity with OpenText solutions will be considered a plus
