We are looking for a Release Engineer to help manage and maintain the customer's SCM and build environments. This individual will be hands on creating tools to improve efficiency and visibility into the SDLC process for groups across the technology organization.


- Manage and maintain SCM and issue tracking systems
- Develop and maintain continuous integration processes and tools
- Setup and configure build and test environments
- Implementation and improvements of build and packaging solutions
- Troubleshoot build failures
- Research, design and implement new technology and solutions to improve the SDLC process
- Collaborate and be part of a team which supports customer's internally developed deployment infrastructure during point releases and hotfixes
- Documentation of existing processes and process changes


- Bachelor degrees in Computer Science or Engineering, MIS or related fields
- 2+ years managing build/release processes in a large enterprise environment
- Extensive experience with build tool (MsBuild, Ant, Maven, Gradle, etc.) and artifact repository manager (Nuget, Artifactory, etc.)
- Experience with CI (Jenkins) and issue tracking systems (Jira, Confluence, FishEye/Crucible)
- Experience with scripting; Perl, Groovy, PowerShell, etc.
- Experience using and administering software configuration management (SCM) systems, with a strong preference for Perforce
- Strong understanding of SCM branching strategies
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work across multiple time zones and cultures
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience with various SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) models, including waterfall and agile/iterative
- Proactively seek opportunities for improvements by keeping abreast of new technologies
