Job description
For NATEK Poland we are looking for QA Engineer, who will be dedicated to project in the Banking Industry with international team.
You will be a part of scrum team responsible for testing Production Critical Systems. You will be working with Counterparty Credit Risk calculations, as large and distributed Risk Management System that utilizes C# stack and Monte Carlo methods on Cloud (Azure).
Team is located in London and Wroclaw (daily communication in English).
Bank-strategic, R&D project. Credit Risk area. Use of Jira, HP ALM, Confluence. Possibility to participate in Test Automation activities on own learning pace
#LI-MB1 Your responsibilities
- Perform early test design and execution (in-sprint testing) followed by regression tests on release candidates
- Identify and report bugs, with the highest scrutiny, using JIRA
- Excel in test documentation maintenance, communicate and cooperate frequently with project peers: BA, PM, Dev Team across the globe (London, NY, Wroclaw, Warsaw)
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies
- Execute and report test progress (sprint-slots)
Our requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience working in similar position
- Grasp of Front/Back-End best testing practices (UI, API, REST, Database) with good command of SQL, GIT, xml/json
- Solid knowledge of ISTQB, SDLC process and SCRUM ceremonies
- Proficiency with tools/technologies: ALM/Octane/X-Ray, JIRA, Odyssey Confluence, Postman, Continuous Interaction, other relevant for tester's toolbox
- Ability to interpret requirements and coin them into tests scenarios
NICE TO HAVE:
- ISTQB Certification(s) and scripting skills: C#, Python, Power Shell (other)
- Experience working with auditors
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT experience or another technology-related subject
