• Stabilize and optimize existing data processing solutions

• Design, develop, implement and maintain production-grade data pipelines

• Deliver missing functionalities and complete existing data products

• Improve the quality, performance, scalability and maintainability of data processing components

• Develop clean, testable and well-documented Python code following engineering best practices

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions and technical design reviews

• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis and propose long-term improvements

• Support CI/CD processes and contribute to automated deployment and release management

• Collaborate closely with software engineers and Energy Economics domain experts to continuously improve data products

• 4+ years of commercial experience in Python application development

• Proven experience in Software Engineering or Backend Engineering, preferably in data-intensive or distributed environments

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure Functions and Event Grid

• Experience building production-grade, modular and maintainable Python applications

• Experience troubleshooting complex production issues across distributed systems

• Good understanding of data modeling concepts, including dimensional modeling, Domain-Driven Design and event-driven architectures

• Experience with CI/CD, Git-based development workflows and Azure DevOps

• Business-level English (B2+)

• Experience with Spark and Databricks in production environments

• Advanced SQL knowledge

• Experience with Kafka, Azure Event Hub or Spark Structured Streaming

• Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale data platforms

• Knowledge of data quality, observability and data governance practices

• Experience with data contracts, schema evolution and Data Products

• Experience with cloud security, IAM and environment management

• Experience defining engineering standards and best practices
