Project/Program Manager

Job description

At NATEK Poland we are looking for a Project/Program Manager who would like to join project in the banking industry.

Your responsibilities

  • Direct and control the delivery of transformation initiatives related to DC LAN in EMEA and APAC – ensuring projects are delivered as per required scope and within agreed timelines
  • Work alongside the Service Provider PM team reviewing project plans, risks, issues and dependencies, tracking actions and where required, suggesting improvements
  • Engage with stakeholders including SMEs to ensure seamless delivery removing any organizational obstacles
  • Provide regular reporting for the Transformation Programme team as well as other stakeholders, reporting and escalating to management as needed
  • Work as part of a global team but be responsible for all day-2-day activities that affect the delivery of the project

Challenges employee will be facing in this role:

  • Bringing together the external SPs and SMEs and ensuring that each party meets their obligations that will contribute towards a successful delivery of the Programme
  • Governing the external Service Providers ensuring that they are delivering to their contractual obligations and at the same time supporting them and ensuring that colleagues are able to deliver their side of the agreement

 

 

Our requirements

  • Fluent English
  • At least 4 years of Technology Project Management experience in medium+ size programs (1 – 5 mil USD) with geographically distributed teams
  • Proficiency with tools like MS Project, Visio, Confluence and Jira
  • Strong project management skills and proven stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong problem solving and results-oriented approach, ability to deliver quality under high workload

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • A master’s degree preferable an MBA is extremely desirable. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or another technical discipline essential
  • Prior Banking, Financial Services or Consulting experience would be helpful
  • Knowledge and experience in area of network and connectivity services – either from a management perspective or from a previous engineering background extremely beneficial
  • Market recognized PM certification
