The project focuses on designing, operating, and optimizing a secure hybrid network environment connecting on-premises infrastructure with Microsoft Azure. The role supports a strategic cloud-transformation initiative across Europe, ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure connectivity between distributed enterprise environments.

Your responsibilities
• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure across Azure and on-prem environments.
• Deploy and maintain hybrid connectivity solutions (VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN).
• Operate and optimize Azure networking components such as VNet, NSG, Azure Firewall, Load Balancer, and Private Link.
• Troubleshoot and enhance on-premises networking equipment (routing, switching, segmentation).
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of enterprise network services.
• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) provisioning for networking components (e.g., Terraform).
• Collaborate with security and DevOps teams on automated and secure deployments.
• Maintain up-to-date architecture and configuration documentation.
• Support cloud migrations from traditional infrastructure to cloud-based solutions.
Our requirements
To succeed at this job, you must have:
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise networking.
• Hands-on experience with Azure networking services.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, and firewall concepts.
• Experience designing and operating hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
• Basic scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• English at intermediate level or higher.
• All Technologies: Azure Networking, VPN / ExpressRoute / Virtual WAN, Routing & Switching, Firewalls / VLANs / DNS, Terraform / Infrastructure as Code, PowerShell / Bash / Python, Network monitoring tools
It would be preferred if you have:
• Microsoft certifications (AZ-900 baseline awareness required; AZ-700 or AZ-104 preferred).
• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (Azure Network Watcher, Wireshark).
• Familiarity with firewall vendors such as Palo Alto, Checkpoint, or Barracuda.
• Exposure to hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or similar).
