• Work with colleagues/team members from many international locations

• Develop/modernize/refactor Java code on one of the main platforms

• Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies

• Improve resilience and monitoring capabilities

• Design and transform application architecture towards cloud technology

• Build functional knowledge on application scope and associated domain

• Actively participate in code reviews, team meetings, and discussions

• Conduct unit, package and performance tests and ensure a level of quality in line with the guidelines

To succeed in your new role, you’re required to have relevant experience in at least one of the following profiles:

Profile 1:

- Solid Java expertise (incl. Java 8)

- Good Java FX & Swing knowledge

- Good JBoss expertise

Profile 2:

- Solid Java expertise

- Good JSP/servlets knowledge

- Maria DB or another relational database knowledge

- Tomcat server knowledge

- Struts framework (1.*) expertise

Both profiles:

- Good JavaScript + HTML/CSS expertise

- Good Maven expertise

- Conducting unit, package and performance tests

- Confidence to write high quality code in a complex application

- Experience with the SOAP protocol

- Comfortable working in a distributed agile environment in an international team

- Good level of written and oral English
