VACANCY DESCRIPTION

To extend our team of consultants, we are searching for motivated engineers to support end users. The IT Deskside Support will provides 2nd level support for end users within the organisation's desktop computing environment and it will involve supporting the IT Deskside department in achieving its objectives.

DUTIES

- Act as primary/secondary contact for IT Systems on site, LAN, WAN, Voice, Printing services, etc...
- Act as the "key person” in the IT Deskside team in case of Business Continuity Plan activation and Disaster Recovery
- Work within Customer's guidelines to ensure compliance to corporate standards
- Acts as an advisor for the functional or business group that the system supports
- Ensuring all support cases are dealt with, within agreed service levels, and to the customer's satisfaction ensuring all work carried out is satisfactorily documented within the relevant ticket logging system
- Implementation of site IT projects
- Provide service requests and incidents/problem management with responsibility for resolution and root cause analysis of the most complex hardware and software issues within the Operating Level Agreements
- Monitor system resource utilisation and support capacity planning by capturing data, analysing trends and making upgrade recommendations

REQUIREMENTS

- 2 years experience in Help Desk services / End User Support services
- Excellent technical knowledge of PCs hardware
- Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems and standards
- Ability to operate tools, components and peripheral accessories
- Software and Hardware Troubleshooting
- Routers, switches and firewall experience
- TCP/IP
- Respond and resolve tickets in a timely manner
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows ACL's
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Implement IT policies, procedures, and system controls
- Experience working within enterprise ticket systems
- ITIL Foundation Certificate represents an advantage
- Familiar with smartphones and Tablets with iOS, Android and Windows
- English speaking (B2)

Salary

Starting from 1200 EUR gross/month, depending on seniority.
