At NATEK Poland, we are looking for a Senior Informatica Power Center & Oracle PL-SQL Developer who will join an international team within the banking industry.

As a member of the Accounting Subledgers team based in Wroclaw, you will work closely with 4 developers (2 Java, 2 Oracle/ETL) and 1 platform services/DBA support – supported by a small team of BA, to analyze, design and develop applications.  

You are expected to be an experienced developer with strong technical skills in Oracle PL-SQL, Informatica ETL, Unix and familiarity of DevOps & Agile development practices.

Your responsibilities

• Perform leading roles which includes:
• Review requirements, prepare/contribute to design decisions, solution design, coding, code review, testing strategy & test results review
• Participate in development & manage book of work delivery of project along wit vendor team
• Interface with Business Analysts, Strategic Change functions, Architects, QAs and PMs
• Co-ordinate effectively with your squad, manage the delivery, set expectations appropriately and manage the integration of your component changes into the controlled environments
• Ensure resolution of any issues/defects
• Reporting and status updates on projects 
• Level-3 Support/performance tuning

 

• Participate in development tasks including:
• Writing transformation and mappings in Informatica PowerCenter 10.4
• Development of Unix shell scripts to control the operation of data loading processes
• Building Oracle PL/SQL Stored Procedures, managing views, performing ad-hoc queries & tuning SQL for performance effectively
• Design of the overall data sourcing framework and process working closely with the upstream / downstream application teams.
• Be an active scrum participant & in full control of their own backlog

 

• Ensure quality of our delivery by using process standardization and best DevOps practices

Our requirements

• Several years development & design experience in Informatica Power Center, Oracle PL/SQL & Unix scripting, building enterprise scale, high volume n-tier applications
• Strong DevOps experience (Agile, Squads, CI/CD)
• Proven analytical, problem solving, decision making and critical thinking ability
• Excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to actively listen, interact with lead users, business analysts and other development teams

Desirable:

• Exposure to/experience of Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), Enterprise Java applications and HDFS (HIVE/KUDU) would be an advantage
• Development experience within finance/accounting domain and finance business process & accounting process knowledge a significant advantage
