Job description
Our partner is seeking a skilled Ezmeral Datafabric Engineer to join the innovative and fast-paced team. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing Ezmeral Datafabric platform to support various data-centric operations. You will collaborate with teams across the organization to implement scalable solutions for handling big data, while automating processes and improving operational efficiency.
Your expertise in HPE Ezmeral Datafabric, coupled with hands-on experience in Linux Shell scripting, Python, and automation, will be vital in ensuring seamless data operations. Familiarity with HPE Ezmeral Runtime Enterprise (ERE) and experience in Agile frameworks such as Jira will be advantageous for success in this role.

Your responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage HPE Ezmeral Datafabric to support big data infrastructure and applications.
- Design and implement automation workflows using Linux Shell scripting and Python to enhance the efficiency of data operations and platform management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable data solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure.
- Monitor the performance, health, and security of the Ezmeral Datafabric environment, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Develop and maintain documentation for platform configurations, automation scripts, and operational procedures.
- Continuously assess the infrastructure and recommend improvements for optimization and performance tuning.
- Utilize Agile methodologies for project management and collaboration, contributing to sprints and team meetings, with experience in Jira
- Software being considered an advantage.
- Work closely with teams to implement HPE Ezmeral Runtime Enterprise (ERE), leveraging its capabilities to enhance data fabric operations where applicable.
- Provide support and guidance to other engineers and teams working with HPE Ezmeral products, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing
Our requirements
To succeed at this job, you must have:
- Experience with HPE Ezmeral Datafabric or similar big data platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux Shell scripting for automation and operational tasks.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation of data operations.
- Familiarity with big data ecosystems, distributed computing, and scalable architecture design.
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks, with the ability to implement automated workflows for system management.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage and resolve complex issues in a data-centric environment.
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and networking concepts.
It would be preferred if you have:
- Experience with HPE Ezmeral Runtime Enterprise (ERE) is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools such as Jira Software for task management and collaboration.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Relevant certifications in HPE Ezmeral or other related big data or cloud technologies are a plus.
