Job description
Join NATEK as a DWH Developer Ab Initio and contribute to a project in the banking sector. You will work in an established enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence environment supporting financial and risk controlling, regulatory reporting, and corporate management. The project focuses on the ongoing development and enhancement of existing Data Warehouse solutions.
Germany - hybrid model, predominantly remote work, with on-site visits to the client's office once every 2–3 months.

Your responsibilities
• Analyse business requirements and design, develop, test, and deploy ETL processes.
• Develop and enhance solutions across the Core Warehouse, Derivation Area, and Data Marts.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate their needs into technical solutions.
• Support data modelling and the ongoing development of the Data Warehouse.
• Provide technical consulting in ETL and Data Warehousing.
• Support, coach, and train internal employees in Ab Initio.
• Participate in testing activities and agile project delivery.
Our requirements
To succeed at this job, you must have:
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Data Warehousing and ETL development, including hands-on experience with Ab Initio.
• Experience working with enterprise Data Warehouse environments.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL and experience with Oracle databases, preferably Oracle 19c.
• Very good command of German.
• Experience in banking or financial services and a good understanding of banking processes.
• Knowledge of Linux, Data Warehouse architecture, and data modelling.
• Ability to work independently across the ETL development lifecycle.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
It would be preferred if you have:
• Knowledge of banking regulatory reporting and BCBS 239.
• Experience with PowerDesigner.
• Familiarity with IBM Rational ClearCase, MF ALM, Scrum, SAFe, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of MicroStrategy.
