Job description
We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer with 5 years overall experience, whereas 2 years experience working with DevOps solutions, automation and/or AWS
#LI-VK1 Your responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable DevOps environment by leveraging cloud-native principles
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across different infrastructure environments: developer to production, in coordination with software engineers
- Scripting and Automation (Python, Bash, etc.) of product deployments, infrastructure, container management and tasks
- Implement Security Concepts (Encryption, Authentication, Firewalls)
- Analyze requirements and support potential implementation/migration of product and services to AWS or Azure
- Continuously improve and automate ongoing SDLC processes
- Support the setup of the DevOps Platform team as one of the core functions within IT Infrastructure & Operations team
- Support different ongoing projects/activities in the area of DevOps (e.g. Adaptive Transformation – DevSecOps stream, Data Streaming)
- Being part of a multi-cultural team, bringing agile and DevOps thinking into life
- Provide excellent support to users or customers of the products
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, deliver and operate solutions that meet business needs
- Support and perform knowledge/best practice sharing with other members of our team
Our requirements
- Advanced knowledge and experience in configuration management and automation tools for CI/CD: GitLab, Ansible, Nexus or Jenkins
- Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python
- Prior work experience implementation and/or migration to AWS
- Experience working with big data technologies: Spark, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Hadoop
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker with practical work experience
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and experience with ELK, monitoring/logging
- Experience and ability to work in an agile, entrepreneurial-like environment
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields would be a plus.
