• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers for high-performance trading and financial systems.

• Enhance, maintain, and support the existing SBL (Securities Borrowing & Lending) module.

• Contribute to a major short-selling product development initiative within the trading domain.

• Collaborate with business analysts and system architects to translate trading and financial requirements into efficient, scalable database solutions.

• Optimize database performance and ensure stability for high-volume trading transactions.

• Implement and maintain data integrity, reconciliation, and validation controls across multiple trading platforms.

• Support integration between front-office, trading platforms, back-office systems, and settlement layers.

• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment processes within an agile environment.

• Prepare technical documentation and maintain system specifications in line with internal and regulatory standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Developer in financial services or capital markets.

• Proven expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, and database performance tuning.

• Deep understanding of Short Selling and SBL workflows, including relevant financial business processes.

• Experience integrating Oracle solutions with trading and post-trade systems.

• Strong knowledge of capital markets, trading operations, and settlement processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with FIX protocol, ISO 15022/20022, or SWIFT messaging standards.

• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, or BI tools.

• Knowledge of financial regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., EDAA, CMA).
