• Prepare and load test data into development, functional testing and acceptance environments, supporting testing activities and reducing developers' operational workload

• Create, track and follow up on IT requests related to test-data loading according to defined release plans

• Investigate and resolve failed data-loading jobs and document job workflows and execution processes

• Support the preparation and execution of production releases and deployments

• Collect, plan and integrate software artifacts required for releases

• Define, monitor and maintain configuration management processes and documentation

• Manage software artifact versioning, merging, conflict resolution and configuration traceability

• Support CI/CD, process automation and development teams

• Analyze and improve Data Lake development, configuration and software delivery processes

• Fluent German, both written and spoken

• Experience in Configuration Management, preferably within the banking or financial services sector

• Strong SQL skills and practical experience with Databricks

• Technical background in DevOps, Configuration Management, Release Management or Data Operations

• Experience with software configuration processes, including versioning, merging and conflict resolution

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD and release processes

• Understanding of ETL/Data Lakehouse environments and data-loading processes

• Understanding of Python/PySpark; independent code development is not required

• Knowledge of IT operations and production deployment processes

• Familiarity with Agile development environments.

• Experience with Automic / UC4 or similar job scheduling tools

• Experience troubleshooting failed ETL or data-loading jobs

• Experience preparing and supporting production releases in enterprise environments

• Experience automating operational, configuration or deployment processes

• Knowledge of Unity Catalog, Azure SQL, T-SQL, Spark SQL, YAML and JSON

• Strong documentation skills, particularly in configuration management and release traceability

• Experience working across Data Engineering, DevOps and Operations
