Job description

CIO serves as a trusted advisor to the board members, responsible for leading teams and projects in software development, IT support, and infrastructure. This role focuses on shaping the IT strategy to align with company goals, ensuring successful current and future implementations within the digital ecosystem. CIO will drive transformation through digitalization, automation, and optimization of IT solutions, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, business applications, and the software development lifecycle. CIO owns the change and development roadmap for internal IT tools, the IT team, budget and operations of IT department.

Your responsibilities

IT Transformation and Delivery:

  1. Lead the transition of current architecture of systems and infrastructure to new solutions that support major company business processes
  2. Oversee, maintain, and upgrade the organization’s cloud IT infrastructure, focusing on security and operational efficiency
  3. Prepare and execute a roadmap for modernising software tools and phasing out legacy solutions
  4. Facilitate and support automation of business processes in the MS365 environment
  5. Communicate and seek solutions with potential IT suppliers for software and hardware
  6. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for seamless integration across platforms

IT Quality:

  1. Design, develop, implement, and maintain IT systems, policies, and procedures
  2. Ensure IT policies and standards align with best practices and regulatory requirements, particularly regarding IT Security and Information Security (ISO 27001)
  3. Monitor market trends and recommend solutions which may be worth implementing
  4. Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance
  5. Work closely with the board and key users to understand business requirements and support the global company strategy

IT Team Management:

  1. Provide effective leadership and management for existing IT teams
  2. Managing assigned teams and projects within the transformation scope
  3. Monitors and develop IT performance metrics (SLA, KPI, objectvies)
  4. Oversee hiring, talent retention, and career development within the IT team
  5. Actively participate in the daily distribution of work and follow up on the transformation roadmap

Our requirements

To succeed at this job, you must have:

  1. MS degree in IT or engineering field 7+ years of proven experience in similar role accountable for internal IT solutions, technology, architecture
  2. Demonstrated success in leading distributed IT teams
  3. Experience in leading IT transformation projects in area of technology, infrastructure and software architecture, systems integration and IT Security
  4. Working experience in security certified environment
  5. Proven record of successful projects related to technology strategy for current and future implementations
  6. Strong IT knowledge and experience with MS365 and SharePoint
  7. Keeping up to date with technological news, strong interest in IT market innovations
  8. Excellent people management skills with a focus on talent development
  9. Strong competencies in IT security, Business Analysis and Deployment Management
  10. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational efficiency and optimisation
  11. Fluency in English

It would be preferred if you have:

  1. Proficiency in other languages is a plus
  2. Familiarity with technologies related to process automation (RPA, OCR, NLP, MS Office Package, PowerBI) is a plus
