VACANCY DESCRIPTIONBusiness Unit Manager (BUM) has a responsibility to manage the strategy, people, business development, profitability and customer satisfaction in Bratislava branch.
Committed to the expansion and success of the business, BUM supervises the operation and leads the team in the branch. The role extends to represent NATEK towards internal and external clients (customers and employees), suppliers, all local authorities and state organizations. Being supported by cross-functional and cross-country collaboration achieves expected business result.
Summarizing, we are looking for a Colleague who is able to perform as a partner, entrepreneur, great team leader, and customer-oriented account manager understood as micro-CEO of the branch.
DUTIESSALES, PROFITABILITY and GROSS MARGIN GROWTH
*Responsible to drive local sales and profit plans
*Manages the business growth by usage of sales reports, assessing branch results, risks and potential
*Manages, leads and directs the business development activities aimed at reaching sales goals
*Builds customer engagement and brand loyalty, ensured by the quality of service provided and long-term relations
*Manages team to achieve excellent customer service in order to obtain customer satisfaction (account management)
*Agrees on annual budgets and produces a detailed annual business operating plan
*Cooperates with NATEK internal teams as Finance, Marketing/Communication, Recruitment, HR etc.
*Ensures the result of recruitment performance, standards, and priorities in cooperation with Recruitment Manager
*Provides consistent leadership, mentoring and people development to the team
*Identifies potential of employees and talents and creates career paths and development plans
*Manages NATEK Employees annual appraisal interviews, objectives, bonus plans
*Detects the risk of attrition, prevents retention of talents by proposing solutions to internal and external managers (Customer and HR)
*Identifies underperformance and implements the best improvements plans
*Builds team spirit in the branch, integrates team, takes care about good working atmosphere according to employer brand
*Understands and administers the HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with them
*Extends NATEK employer and company brand internally and externally, performing professionally and ethically
QUALITY, SECURITY, REPORTING
*Reports directly to NATEK Country Manager
*Maintains control over audited procedures to ensure compliance
*Prepare quarterly forecasts including revenue and sales growth forecasting, gross margin, staff salary cost, expenses as events, recruitment budget.
*Tri-annual Presentation to NATEK Management meeting: last period result analysis, next quarter objectives, outstanding issues and recommendation
REQUIREMENTS*MA/MS degree with at 5 years of experience in business development (sales) and account management
*Working experience in a company providing service is mandatory (IT or finance preferable)
*Proven track record in people management with strong competencies in leadership, supervising, mentoring and career development
*Experience on the position with business growth responsibility (gross margin, profitability)
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Ability to focus and prioritize in a fast-growing business environment
*Strong organizational, sales, negotiation and influencing skills
*Open for business traveling to branch locations occasionally
*Fluency in English; another language as German or French is a plus.
