• Design and develop backend services in Python and/or Golang

• Implement and optimize core trading-related business logic

• Ensure high-performance, low-latency, and fault-tolerant solutions

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Perform and participate in thorough code reviews

• Cover features with automated tests (unit, integration, performance)

• Take ownership of features from proof of concept to production-ready delivery

• Collaborate in a distributed, multicultural team environment

• Contribute ideas, improvements, and technical innovations

• You will work with modern backend and data technologies, including:

1. Languages: Python, Golang
2. Data & Processing: Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Presto
3. Databases & Messaging: SQL, PostgreSQL, Kafka
4. Infrastructure & DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
5. Tooling: Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence), Slack, TeamCity, Sonar

• Teams operate in a Scrum/Kanban hybrid environment, typically composed of 3–7 backend engineers balanced with QAs, Frontend Engineers, and Business Analysts.

• Due to collaboration with stakeholders and teams operating in the Pacific Time Zone, availability is required until 8:00 PM Bulgarian time.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development

• Strong proficiency in Python and Golang

• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis

• Passion for writing clean, optimized, and well-tested code

• Experience taking features from concept to production

• Result-oriented mindset with strong ownership

• Team player with the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback

• B2+ English level (comfortable communicating with multicultural teams and US stakeholders)

• Background in trading or capital markets

• Experience with concurrent programming and thread synchronization

• Exposure to distributed systems with strong performance and reliability
