Application Support Engineer

Job description

At NATEK Poland we are looking for an Accessibility Applications Support Engineer who will join a project in the banking industry.

 

In this position you will be responsible for supporting accessibility applications in scope of Global Diversity & Inclusion Team. 

Your main responsibilities will include working on onboarding selected accessibility applications  to environment, accepting and resolving application problems and providing user support.

 

The team is located in Poland – 4 team members working in Scrum.

Your responsibilities

  • Look after onboarding process of new applications, take care security (IT governance) and proof of concept
  • Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining accessibility software on on-premise platforms.
  • Provide user support
  • Proactive work with different teams to deliver working applications with superb support.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation, recorded into ITSM incident booking system or JIRAs.
  • Demonstrate “Can Do” attitude at all times.
  • Closely cooperate with counterparties including Security and Engineering for vast applications on-boarding.
  • Manage and prioritize all assigned tasks. Troubleshoot to best knowledge and if troubleshooting is insufficient, engage other support teams or a vendor for help. Utilize all possible contact channels (IM, phone, email) to seek resolution.

Our requirements

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and workstations.
  • Experience in onboarding applications in a Windows server environment
  • Good understanding of practical deployment of applications including security aspects.
  • Experience with applications releases and understanding of full application lifecycle.
  • Empathy when dealing with delicate and personal D&I matters.
  • Strong teamwork and communication / information sharing.
  • Agile attitude
