Dissatisfaction in company benefits or unwillingness to learn new skills – what are the biggest challenges in the the HR world right now?

Košice IT Valley and ScaleUP organised a meet up  called “HR Coffee and Cake” to let recruiters and HR representatives from the region share knowledge and exchange opinions.

This time, specialists discussed several challenges they currently focus on and ways of dealing with them.

One of the biggest issues is reinventing company benefits and offering employees something of a real value. Employer’s inability to design benefits strategies fit for the youngest generations of employees and even to communicate the relevance of them, influences people’s level of appreciation of these. As a result, great percentage of employees are dissatisfied with the company’s benefits.

What is more, as agreed, another current problem is motivating senior employees to participate in upskilling programs and any sorts of trainings.

Recruiters from Kosice region noticed also that LinkedIn, which currently has over 610 million members and 303 million active monthly users, is not popular as popular in Slovakia as in neighbouring countries.

As we are always willing to be a part of discussion which can improve employees professional lives, NATEK was represented by IT Recruiter Nikola Hozza and Junior Communication Coordinator Viktor Mitruk.
